In 1992, we said hello to Jane Pauley and Stone Phillips, as they hosted the premiere of Dateline NBC. Nirvana’s Kurt Cobain said “I do” to Courtney Love. The Canadian Toronto Blue Jays took Major League Baseball by storm becoming the first non-US team to win the World Series, and Bill Clinton welcomed Al Gore to be his running mate for the 1992 Presidential campaign.
Meanwhile, we said goodbye to Larry Bird as he announced his retirement from basketball, and to Johnny Carson as he hosted The Tonight Show for the very last time. But most importantly, The Bay View class of 1992 bid farewell to one another, and we went our separate ways to the world outside the wrought iron gates and hallowed halls of St. Mary Academy!
